44% of Filipinos satisfied with Robredo’s ICAD stint – SWS

MANILA, Philippines — Forty-four percent of Filipinos are satisfied with Vice President Leni Robredo’s abbreviated stint as co-chairperson of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD), a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed. Of the 1,200 adults surveyed from December 13 to 16, 2019, the survey released Wednesday showed 14 percent were very satisfied and 30 percent were somewhat satisfied with her performance. ADVERTISEMENTMeanwhile, the survey also showed 26% were dissatisfied with 15% somewhat satisfied and 11% very dissatisfied and 30% were undecided. At least 49 percent of those surveyed agree that Robredo’s removal as ICAD co-chairperson is an admission that the war against illegal drugs is failing. Robredo was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as ICAD co-chairperson in October last year.
