MANILA, Philippines — Four alleged drug pushers were killed in police operations in Bulacan and Sultan Kudarat on Monday. In Sultan Kudarat, police said Santiago Magno and Joey Gente, both residents of Barangay Tuka in Bagumbayan town, fired at police officers who tried to arrest them. Chief Inspector Rodney Binoya, Bagumbayan police chief, said the suspects were pronounced dead on arrival at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital. “We got tips from concerned individuals that marijuana plantations exist in the area... we immediately launched police operations,” Cruz told The STAR. Padre was reportedly caught handing the pouch to his cousin Wilmer Ebojo, who was also arrested.
