Officials of the Foreign Ministry and the Bangladesh embassy in Ankara confirmed to Dhaka Tribune the scheduled arrival of the bodies. The accident, which occurred 1500km away from the Turkish capital of Ankara on December 25, 2019, left seven people dead. Eleven other Bangladeshi nationals, who were rescued, are now in the custody of the Turkish law enforcement agencies.
