Bangladesh were in all sorts of trouble as they lost half of their side for just 23. Towhid Hridoy, captain Akbar Ali and Shamim Hossain scored 36, 23 and 20 respectively that took the score to three figure. Opening bowler Joey Field grabbed four wickets for New Zealand. While chasing the small total, the Kiwis reached 48/1 but Tanzid Hasan and Shahin Alam got five quick wickets to reduce the score to 63/6. Kiwi captain Jesse Tashkoff though remained not out on 41 to navigate his side home.
