MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.8 earthquake rocked Occidental Mindoro on Saturday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake hit 17 kilometers northwest of Abra De Ilog, Occidental Mindoro at 5:58 p.m.ADVERTISEMENTPhivolcs said the quake was felt at various intensities in the following areas;Intensity III – Calatagan, BatangasIntensity II – Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Tagaytay CityIntensity I – Dolores and Mulanay in Quezon, Olongapo CityThe earthquake of tectonic origin had a depth of 108 km.
