A total of 4,718 out of 6,070 examinees passed the September 2018 Medical Technologist licensure examinations, the Professional Regulatory Board (PRC) announced on Wednesday. Lorenz Masajo Barro from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the licensure exams after posting a 92.10 percent rating. ADVERTISEMENTBarro was followed by Rolter Lorez Mispeñas Lee, also from UST, with 91.80 percent and Eldy Villanoy Barrietos from the University of San Agustin with 91.70 percent. The PRC recorded the national passing rate at 77.72 percent for the 2018 examination. The date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of the new successful examinees would be announced later, the PRC said.
