Photo: AFPBerlin: Berlin police said on Sunday 39 people were detained on Saturday in connection with a Neo-Nazi rally commemorating the 30th anniversary of the death of Adolf Hitler’s deputy and Nazi official Rudolf Hess. Twelve of the far-right protesters are being investigated for displaying forbidden symbols. The rules mean that shields, helmets and batons carried by far-right and Neo-Nazi protesters in Charlottesville wouldn’t be allowed in Germany. A number of far-right protesters emerged from the tents with black tape covering their arms or legs.
