36 percent of Filipinos say their lives improved in Q3 2019


MANILA, Philippines — Thirty-six percent of Filipinos said their quality of life improved in the third quarter of 2019, recent results of Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed Saturday. ADVERTISEMENTIn a survey conducted from Sept. 27 to 30, 2019, the pollster said 36 percent of Filipinos said their lives improved while 25 percent said their lives worsened in the past 12 months. The SWS said that this showed a Net Personal Optimists rate to decrease to +41 from +42 in June 2019. The September 2019 survey also discovered that 41 percent of adults said Philippine economy will improve in the next 12 months while 12 percent said it will worsen. There were 600 people interviewed each in Balance Luzon and Mindanao and 300 each were interviewed in Metro Manila and Visayas.
