One of the female workers described their ordeals, saying they fled their workplaces after becoming victims of torture and brutality by their Saudi employers. She said they went to police and have been staying in police custody for the last several months. Earlier, similar video messages were sent by Bangladeshi female workers by Hosna Akter and Sumi Akter. Of them, Sumi has already been rescued and brought home while Hosna is scheduled to return home Wednesday night.
