Monrovia - A two-day Inter-Schools Championship in Liberia begins March 22, at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex and will end on Friday, March 23. A total of 816 students - 408 males and 408 females - from 34 senior and junior high schools in and around Monrovia are expected to participate in male and female editions of the Inter-Schools Championship. The schools include African Dream Academy, Brighter Future Academy, Isaac A. David Sr. Memorial School, Paynesville SSA High School, Effort Baptist Church School, Kula Memorial School, Kingdom Foundation Institute, Jimmy Jolocon High School, Patrick Jallah High School and St. Kizito Catholic School amongst others. The co-chairman of the 2018 organizing committee of the Inter-Schools Championship, Samuel Cooper told journalists 18 out of the 34 schools have confirmed their participation and will provide four athletes to form a team representing their respective institutions. Coach Cooper said by March 22, the LAF is confident all 34 high schools would confirm their participation.
