To The Daily Sun,Well, as Ronald Regan would say, “here we go again.” Whitefish Energy Holdings, with only two employees at the time a $300 million-plus no-bid contract was awarded through the Trump administration, is yet another chapter in the quid pro quo of administration politicians. We know Puerto Rico’s energy grid was precarious even before Hurricane Maria made landfall. Nope, a no-bid, $300 million-plus contract was awarded instead. I wonder how the UTIER, Puerto Rico’s electrical workers’ union, feels about those wages? So American taxpayers, we again get taken for a ride over no-bid contracts which grease the hands of political cronies in Washington, but yep this time it’s the Trump administration.
