The accused was identified as Hazrat Ali, 19, who works in the restaurant owned by the victim child’s father. OC Ershadul also said that a Nilphamari court on Monday sent Hazrat to jail after they produced him before it in a case filed by the victim’s father. According to police and locals, Hazrat had taken the child to his house and raped her there around 2pm on Sunday. The child was admitted to Nilphamari Sadar Modern Hospital after her mother saw her bleeding through her genital area. The victim’s father later filed the case with Sadar police against Hazrat.
