7 hours agoThree students were on Wednesday night arrested for allegedly torching their school's dormitory at Lamu boys secondary school in Lamu county. Lamu county police commander Michangi Kioi said 12 bottles of suspicious liquid were recovered after an impromptu search was conducted by the police within the school compound. He further said that three students arrested on suspicion of arson are being interrogated at Lamu West police station. According to Lamu West sub-county Education Officer, Josephat Ngumi, the school board is meeting today to decide the fate of the school.
