Winnipeg police are investigating after three people were shot at a Portage Avenue hookah bar early Saturday morning. A police duty officer told CBC News that officers were called to Spades Lounge and Hookah Bar after shots were fired at about 1:10 a.m.Three people were rushed to hospital with "pretty serious gunshot wounds," the officer added. On Saturday morning, several Winnipeg Police Service vehicles were parked outside of the bar. The sidewalk in front of the building, which is between Langside and Young streets, was cordoned off with yellow police tape. The status of the three people who were shot isn't known at this time.
