Two alleged drug traders were killed in a gunfight with the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Shamlapur area in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday. RAB claimed that both of them were drug traders. As soon as the RAB members reached the area, the yaba traders opened fire on them, prompting them to fire back in self-defence, triggering a gunfight. In Faridpur, a man, believed to be the leader of a robber gang, was killed in a reported gunfight with police in Barankhola area of Boalmari upazila on Wednesday.
