CHINIOT: Three persons, including two women, were killed in a road accident at Chak Jhumra Road here on Tuesday. According to the police, the accident took place at Chiniot-Chak Jhumra Road bypass where a rashly driven dumper hit a motorcycle carrying 3 people, which included two women. As a result, Irshad Ullah, 55, his sister Jannat Bibi, 45, and a relative Musarrat Bibi, 45, received fatal injuries and died on the spot. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies in a Rescue 1122 ambulance to the District Head Quarters (DHQ) Hospital Chiniot for the postmortem. The police have started a search operation for the driver’s arrest, who fled the scene after the accident.
