At least three people have been killed in a fire that broke out at Munshiganj’s Ideal Textiles Mill. The fire originated on the fourth floor of the six-storey building in Muktarpur around 10am on Monday. She said the families that lost their members in the fire would be given Tk20,000 each. Local shopkeeper Md Monir Sheikh said the mill’s gate is always kept shut. “One cannot say for sure how many people have died in the fire,” he said.
