Three people have been killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway near MC Bazar area in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur. Maona highway police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Haridas confirmed the matter. According to the witnesses, a Dhaka-bound pick-up van carrying chickens crashed into another pick-up van parked on the highway. The chicken-carrying pick-up van immediately fell into a ditch, killing three passengers and 500 chickens. However, according to the SI Haridas, the Dhaka-bound pick-up van fell into the ditch after its driver lost control of the vehicle.
