The deceased are passengers Bachchu Mia, 60, his son Jobayed, 28, and Syed Ahmed, confirmed Shyampur police station Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman. The accident occurred around 6:15pm on Tuesday. According to Bachchu Mia's brother Liton Mia, Bachchu was going from Ikuria to Postogola to take his son for a doctor's visit when the accident occurred on Postogola bridge.
