The convicts were identified as Rahat Hawlader, 21, Mohiuddin Hawlader, 22, and Md Foyjul Islam, 28, all from Gulishkhali village in Morrelganj upazila, Bagerhat. Judge Md Nur-E-Alam of Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal -2 awarded the verdict on Sunday afternoon, confirmed Assistant Public Prosecutor Ranajit Kumar Mondal. Previously on March 11 of 2019, Abdullah, the son of Shohag Howlader of the village was abducted from his residence. In the morning, the miscreants demanded Tk10 lakh as ransom.
