Osowobi is the young lady whose leadership for her organisation – Stand To End Rape – led her to deserved prominence. Except for rare instances where we have seen state governors take proactive responses to risk communication in their states. Therefore, to improve the nation’s crisis communication strategy, the Nigerian government should take information technology, obedience to the ruler of law and credibility among public officials seriously. When laws, which are made for the nation are broken by the very individuals who formulate them, integrity is lacking. In times of crisis, people look to leadership to navigate the ship of the nation to stability and it is a natural inclination to support such leadership.
