Share TweetBy Roy MabasaThe United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday announced the release of the three Filipinos and a South Korean national who were abducted by an armed group at a water project site in western Libya more than 10 months ago. However, the Emirates did not mention the names of the freed civilians nor the date of their actual release. The UAE government stated that it is now working on sending back the freed civilians to their home countries. “In this case, they did not consider that these civilians work for companies that are serving national interests of Libya and its people,” it added.
