A TOTAL of RM666,000 was raised for 3,330 underprivileged students at the Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar (Pass) 14th Anniversary Charity Dinner. In an auction of two motorbikes during the dinner, RM6,668 and RM7,338 was raised, respectively. Ching said the funds raised would be used for future charity activities. Organising committee chairman Wong Man Hoe said Pass and water purifier dispenser distributor JetCoo Water Sdn Bhd were having a charity programme to aid Penang flood victims. It was announced at the dinner that RM23,000 was raised through this programme for 115 needy students in Penang.
