more-inProhibition and Excise officials on Tuesday seized 280 foreign liquor bottles after arresting a person called Shiva Patil in city. Patil used to secure these bottles of reputed brands from Kishan of New Delhi, Ganesh of Chennai and former employee of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Karthik Reddy, they said. He would sell the same to customers in Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills areas with a profit margin of ₹500 to ₹1,000 on each bottle. Patil was arrested in continuation of the raids on persons indulging in unauthorised sale of foreign liquor in the State capital. The first arrest was made when the Prohibition and Excise officials, led by Director Akun Sabharwal, arrested two havaldars of Central Customs department working at the RGIA.
