270 Khasia families fear eviction as AL leader wants tea garden on 600-acre land


At least 270 Khasia families are at risk of losing everything as a local Awami League leader wants to set up a tea garden on a 600.7-acre Khasia land. The Ministry of Land approved Mahi Tea Estate’s application of taking the land on lease for a tea garden based on the improper report, they added.
