At least 25 people died in a road accident at Kambuu, Kibwezi sub-county, Makueni on Tuesday. Area OCPD Leonard Kimaiyo said the accident involved a bus and a center transporting vegetable oil. The bus, which was on its way to Nairobi from Mombasa, collided with the tanker killing the 25 instantly. Police said the driver of the bus was overtaking at Kalulu bridge when he collided with the trailer. The truck driver and the turn boy were seriously injured.
