Various natural and man-made disasters occur in the country almost regularly, affecting the poor and helpless people, particularly women and children," Dulu said. The minister said these while laying the foundation stone for the construction of a flood shelter at Itapota Government Primary School in Lalmonirhat Sadar this morning. He expressed hope that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country can be further developed as a democratic and advanced nation.
