PM works 16 consecutive hours on Thursday


File PhotoDHAKA, April 3, 2026 (BSS) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman set a rare example of dedication, working continuously for 16 hours on Thursday. After completing his work at the Secretariat, Tarique Rahman, also ruling BNP chairman, joined the Jatiya Sangsad session at 3:30 pm. Later, at 8:45 pm, Tarique Rahman attended a cabinet meeting at the Parliament Secretariat, where detailed discussions were held on overall development, crisis management and future plans. Following the cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister returned to his office at the parliament secretariat and continued his official duties. He said working 12 to 14 hours a day is part of the Prime Minister’s regular routine, but on this day (Thursday) it extended to almost 16 hours.
