The amendment is expected the omission of the Volta Region from the list of critical road projects in the budget with the addition of three road projects in the region that were initially left out. At the instance of the Volta Regional Minister, three roads projects in the Volta Region were prioritised in the list of critical road projects for 2020. As it turned out on page 160 of the budget document, the Volta Region was inadvertently left out. ‘Apologize for omission’The Volta caucus has since the omission called on the government to apologize to the chiefs and residents of the Volta Region to apologize.
