Chukwudi Akasike, Port HarcourtTHE Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday called on the people of the state to be vigilant ahead of the 2019 general elections. The governor declared that his administration had in the last three years run an open, transparent and accountable government. Wike spoke while addressing Rivers stakeholders in Port Harcourt on Tuesday during the public presentation of his administration’s scorecard as part of the programme marking his government’s third anniversary. He specifically urged the people to be mindful of desperate politicians plotting to capture the state with the aim of plundering the resources.
