Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, T. Nagar, recently organised a Model United Nations (MUN) with the objective of teaching its students the importance of diplomacy and the value of friendship. MUN simulates the practices of the United Nations, and in the process creates simulated versions of international bodies. So, from Emergency Response Committee to European Union, a raft of groups were represented by around 200 students from 10 city schools. She has just completed her class XII with excellent grades is now off to New York University. Tejas Sudarshan, a class XII student of the school, said, from someone who never read newspapers, he had turned into an avid reader who closely followed all developments.
