Acting on a tip-off, a Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) team searched the trash bin under a boarding bridge at the airport around 5pm and recovered a plastic bag full of 20 gold bars. The gold bars were wrapped with black scotch tape, said sources at CID headquarters. The recovered gold bullion was estimated to be worth around Tk1.16 crore.
