MANILA, Philippines — Two incumbent barangay chairpersons were arrested for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said Thursday. Seized from the scene include the following:One unit caliber .45 pistol (COLT) M1911A1 U. S Army with serial number 1287033 (United States Property)One unit caliber .9mm pistol without Serial Number;One unit Cal. Several firearms and ammunition were also recovered from the barangay chairman. Both chairpersons will face charges for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law.
