AdPi News –AdCanada’s Transportation Safety Board (TSB) said Saturday it was looking into unrelated rail derailments in BC’s mountains, sending investigators to one near Field, B.C., and another near Revelstoke. The federal agency said both incidents involved trains operated by Canadian Pacific Railway to Kansas City (CPKC). - Advertisement -One of the CPKC trains derailed near Field, a small community near the Alberta border, the TSB said, sending an “investigative team” to the site, known as Ottertail Station. Revelstoke did not deploy investigators to the scene, where CPKC said four cars carrying grain on a stalled train derailed. “No other injuries.”The Revelstoke Fire Chief said they responded to reports of a train wreck and someone trapped inside the train just after 10:30 p.m. Friday.
