SAN PEDRO CITY – Two illegal drug suspects were killed in separate shootouts in Cavite and Rizal provinces, while suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P2 million was recovered in Bacoor City in Cavite province. The regional police office, in a report Saturday, said suspect Francisco Viray was killed in a shootout around 8 p.m. Friday after the police responded to a reported commotion in Barangay 36-Caridad in Cavite City, Cavite. In Cainta, Rizal, an alias “Boy” was the target of a buy-bust operation around 3 p.m. Friday in Barangay San Andres. In Bacoor City, Cavite, the police recovered more than 291 grams of alleged shabu worth about P2 million pesos in a buy-bust operation around 5:30 p.m. in Barangay Molino 3. After undercover policemen bought shabu worth P10,000, authorities searched the Barrameda home and discovered the rest of the stash kept in plastic bags and a plastic container.
