According to preliminary investigation, deputy inspector Dilip Singh and constable Jaipal, posted in the anti-demo vehicle have been found guilty in this case. There were no markings on this route which did not have adequate security for the Prime Minister. This security lapse happened after a complete route rehearsal was done on Sunday, a day before the actual event to ensure smooth movement of the VVIP cavalcade. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was present during the security breach, has reportedly given a dressing down to the officials and sought an explanation.
