Police identified the victims who survived the attack as Elizalde Garcia Rocafor, 47, of Barangay Cawag and Roberto Bascarra Delgado, 50, of Barangay Baraca, both in Subic. Eyewitness accounts indicate the red vehicle made a U-turn after the shooting and escaped northward. Meanwhile, Subic Mayor Jay Khonghun, in an interview over a local radio station hours after the incident, said the two councilors came from the bank before the attack happened. He said the two councilors are serving their third terms and are not seeking any public office.
