MANILA, Philippines – Two female Vietnam nationals have been rescued from two Chinese kidnappers in Las Piñas City, Tuesday evening, after authorities traced their location using an application on the hostages’ smartphones. According to information from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), the two were found in a residential unit inside Golden Gate Subdivision in Barangay Talon 3. ADVERTISEMENTOne of the suspects was arrested, identified as Li Mu Qin, but another suspect named Zhao Chao managed to escape. The victims supposedly met with the suspects for a blind date after using an online dating app last December 30. NCRPO noted that they were able to pinpoint the location of the abductors and the two women by sending her Google location.
