Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix announced 2,206 new cases of COVID-19 detected in B.C. Henry announced that as of Tuesday, there are 7,580 active cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Once the U.K. variant was identified, Henry said the B.C. She appealed to British Columbians to do so in order to give health care workers a break. Both were health care workers.
