The head of Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccination task force is suggesting that Health Canada take a look at whether the Moderna vaccine could be administered just once. The clinical trials for both the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccine were “based on a two-dose regiment” she said at the briefing. For the Pfizer vaccine, the second dose is given after 21 days. Loading...Ontario doesn’t have any yet of the Moderna vaccine, recently approved by Health Canada, but is expecting about 50,000 doses on Wednesday, which will be taken into a few long-term care homes at first. “We will not take any more days off until we win this war against COVID-19,” Hillier said.
