MANILA, Philippines — Nineteen couples from the Philippine National Police (PNP) tied the knot in a mass wedding in Camp Crame on Wednesday. PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde and his wife Cherrylyn served as principal sponsors to couples composed of 14 police non-commissioned officers and five non-uniformed personnel, according to Senior Supt. The wedding ceremony held at the St. Joseph Chapel inside the police camp and the reception were sponsored by the PNP leadership. Albert Songco, Vicar General for the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Military Ordinariate, officiated the mass wedding.
