Mia Seppo made the statement while explaining the state of Bangladesh in terms of impact of climate change at the closing ceremony of the fourth CSD Annual Conference on Sustainable Development 2019, organized by CSD-ULAB on Saturday. While explaining the impact of climate change, she said: “For Bangladesh, this is very concrete.... livelihoods are no longer sustainable in the coastal areas.”Mia Seppo termed Bangladesh as very prone to disaster due to its geographical position. Chief Guest of the program, deputy minister of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Habibun Nahar, said that without equal distribution of development throughout the country, it is not possible to attain sustainable development. Member of the ULAB Board of Trustees, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, said that there is no climate change deniers in Bangladesh.
