Zhang estimates that production of the iPhone X has picked up, going at 3 million units per week, and expected to increase to 4 million units per week in December. With this, the analysts have also adjusted their shipping estimates for the iPhone X in December to 30 million units from 27-28 million. Zhang notes that people have been favouring the 256GB variant of the iPhone X over the 64GB variant despite its price well above $1000. Out of the 5 million units cut from the estimate, 3 million have been shifted to the December quarter. Zhang's estimate doesn't specify the countries where the iPhone X is seeing the best response.
