Fifteen cars, including six new vehicles, were allegedly gutted in a fire at a showroom in east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar on Tuesday, the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said. Twelve fire tenders were sent to the spot and the blaze was brought under control by 5 a.m., a senior official said. While the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the blaze started due to a short circuit on the first floor. Furniture and cars parked on the ground floor were also damaged. Some of the cars that got damaged belong to customers and had come for servicing.
