Sources from the police have confirmed that 12 among the injured were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) with injuries. The incident took place at the medical college premises in Khargari area of Rajshahi city on Friday afternoon. One of the injured students seeking anonymity said she along with the other students went to the medical college's hostel to get their belongings, when they were refused entry. Omor Faruk, the MP from the Rajshahi-1 (Tanore-Godagarhi), is the chairman of the medical college.
