Of the detained, seven are current BSMRSTU studentsBangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University (BSMRSTU) authorities detained on Saturday night, twelve members of an unidentified gang infamous for leaking university admission examination questions. Upon questioning the accused, the university authorities have determined the prime suspect to be Babul Shikder of Accounting and Information Systems who is on the run. BSMRSTU Proctor Dr Rajiur Rahman said the perpetrators falsely promised to hand over the question papers to "A" unit examination admission aspirants before the exam. Calling the question leak accusation a hoax, the proctor said: "The detained were duping the aspirants, taking advantage of their situation. "We cannot reveal any names of the university officials yet, for the sake of a proper investigation," he further said.
