"Of the 12 MPs, 10 are Lok Sabha members and two Rajya Sabha members. The MPs were led by Rajya Sabha MP V Maitreyan. "There are several doubts about the manner of treatment given to Jayalalithaa and also about her death. Therefore, there are doubts about the treatment given to her," said Maitreyan, speaking to reporters after meeting the President. On December 4, Apollo Hospitals announced that Jayalalithaa's blood relatives had given permission to stop the treatment.
