MOGADISHU (Somali Update Online) — On Saturday night, Aden International Airport in Mogadishu has received a flight from Jigjiga, the capital of the Somali-Ethiopian region with 114 Somali prisoners released from a jail in Jigjiga. The 114 prisoners, mostly young men, were released following an agreement between Somali and Ethiopian governments. "We thank Ethiopian Government for fulfilling the agreement to release these prisoners from jail." In a statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the 114 prisoners were handed over to the police and the justice department.
