The 110th convoy of humanitarian aid trucks of “Zad Al-Izza from Egypt to Gaza” entered the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, January, 6, 2026, carrying thousands of tons of food and humanitarian assistance, medical supplies, therapeutic medicines, various petroleum products and shelter materials. In response to the severe cold wave currently affecting the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues to ramp up the delivery of essential winter supplies to the region. “Zad Al-Izza… from Egypt to Gaza” initiative was launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent on July 27. The Israeli authorities also prevented the entry of humanitarian aid trucks, fuel and shelter supplies for displaced Palestinians who lost their homes due to the war on Gaza. The Egyptian Red Crescent has been serving as the national mechanism for coordinating and escorting aid convoys into Gaza since the beginning of the crisis in October 2023.
