Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained 11 Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to intrude into India through Daulatpur border. A patrolling team of BGB 21 detained them at 10pm on Saturday. Acting on a tip-off, BGB conducted a raid in the area and detained the 11 people – however the agents managed to flee the scene, said the BGB memebers. Daulatpur BGB Camp Commander Monirujjaman said the detainees were handed over to the Benapole port police station. A case has been filed against the detainees in this connection, the commander added.
